At DLOC Biosystems, we created a lab-on-chip device that programs human cells to behave as they would do inside the human body, so we can better predict the effect of drugs before testing them on humans. Using the device, biologists and pharmaceutical companies can model diseases, such as cancer, in many organs and screen for effective drugs. We mimic a wide range of circular channel morphology such as the ones in the breast, prostate, pancreas, lungs, and vasculature.
