After 4 rounds of competition, uFluidix was selected as one of the 5 finalist to compete for $50,000 cash prize. 200 contestants participated from North America. The final was held in Toronto.

uFluidix has won grants from FedDev Ontario through the VentureStart program.

uFluidix has partnered with NaugaNeedles

 uFluidix Inc. has partnered with NaugaNeedles LLC, a US based manufacturer and supplier of high aspect ratio metallic nano-structures to produce microfluidics platforms for bio-analytical applications. NN’s unique technology will allow to grow probes with diameters of less than 100 nm directly on microfluidics platforms, addressing a long-awaited challenge for the integration of lab-on-a-chip instruments. Together with uFluidix’s scalable and innovative manufacturing technology, the partnership is expected to result in the production of low-cost and disposable lab-on-a-chip devices.

 

uFluidix is granted NRC-IRAP funding

uFluidix has been awarded funding from the Industrial Research Assistance Program of the National Research Council of Canada to further develop the molecular bonding of silicone. The project enables uFluidix to reduce the lead time for new products.
